Based upon the case management system and any unique requirements or specifications, VINE can provide any of the following information on inbound calls:
• Case expiration date
• Change in office and/or supervising officer
• Conviction crimes
• Next hearing date and type
Parameters can be set to determine how long information is available. Data on offenders released from supervision can be removed immediately or up to 90 days after supervision has ended.
How Victims are Notified Notification thresholds and calling patterns are determined by the state and delivered by:
Notifications vary from state to state.
When available, VINE can notify a crime victim when restitution payments are made in their case. This option requires that a state's automated system links crime victims to specific offender cases.
VINE will notify the victim of the last payment made and current balance.
