VINE Registration Link allows victims, concerned citizens, or family members to receive additional notifications about an offender's status as they move through the judicial system, change facilities, or become part of additional court cases or programs.

By transitioning registrations automatically, victims do not need to face the anxiety of searching for and registering for notifications when an offender moves between any combination of County Jails, Departments of Correction, Probation and Parole, VINE Court systems
VINE Registration Link allows victim registrations to
seamlessly transition from one program such as VINE, to another, such as Courts, Sex Offender, or Probation and Parole. VINE Registration Link also allows for the
transition of registrations from the county jails to the DOC.
With VINE Registration Link, not only is the victim's registration transitioned, but it can now notify them of programs and resources available to them based on offender movement.
VINE Registration Link will increase roductivity
and decrease workload by improving your victim notification program and easing your victim advocates' workload.

VINE Registration Link utilizes up to nine different data elements to allow victim registrations to seamlessly transition from one victim notification program to other current offerings. Matching rules are comprised of all or any combination of the following elements: First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Alias, DOB, SSN, Gender, Race, Alternate ID(s), ID Types, and Agency.
VINE Registration Link offers reports showing a list of offenders that matched automatically, including how many registrations were carried over. This process is automated based on matching rules.
But what if an offender doesn't meet all criteria? VINE Registration Link also provides a view of partially matched offenders. For example, an offender matches on their social security number and date of birth but not on their last name. An administrator can verify the validity of the partially matched offender and approve a match. This process can be done by an authorized agency or an Appriss representative. VINE Registration Link also provides a report to show offenders who were unmatched for various reasons, such as a blocked registration set, agency offline, or no registration to copy.
